Rael Roberts
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Specialty: Building SurveyingRael joined Ashby's in 2021, and has spent over 15 years recruiting in various sectors of the construction industry, working for some major national recruiters, and some smaller independent practices. His expertise is in Building Surveying across both commercial and residential disciplines, with a focus on working with mid-senior level professionals across the country.
Rael aims to provide a high-level, bespoke service to every candidate and every client, and approaches each assignment with a tailored, agreed, realistic strategy.
His weekends are often taken up by his children, but he will get out for a couple of beers and an Arsenal game whenever he can.

His background specialises in placing mid to senior level engineers within consultancies working on some of the most iconic and complex projects across the globe.
George is smartly presented and strong minded in nature, he is well organised person who is conscientious in his work and both friendly and polite in manner.

Specialty: MEP Design and Sustainability (North)Henry joined Ashbys in 2021. With previous experience in the recruitment industry. He decided to specialise in MEP design and sustainability for the North, as he enjoys doing ad hoc design work.
Henry has good attention to detail and will always work to a high standard to ensure that candidates working with him have a smooth transition into their next position and achieve all of their career requirements.
Henry in his spare time enjoys looking after his reptile menagerie in, whether that be building new vivariums and habitats for them to explore or giving them an enriching experience during feeding times.

Specialty: MEP Design and Sustainability (Midlands)Ryan has come from a Customer service and Sales background having worked with brands such as the Times newspaper for many years. Ryan came to Ashbys after working in IT recruitment, specicifally for the Swiss geographical area. Ryan now is an integral part of our MEP Design and Sustainability team, looking after the South West and South East region. Ryan is a driven individual who is happy to go above and beyond to succeed with his winning mentality.

Since joining the business Connor’s speciality lies within Sustainability and Net Zero Advisory supporting mid to senior level hires within consultancies working on some of the most iconic and complex projects across the globe.
Away from his professional career his weekend’s are taken up attempting to play golf, you will usally finding him in the half way hut purchasing a new set of golf balls.
