Ashbys Consulting are working with a major housebuilder in Suffolk, who are looking to appoint a Buyer to their Commercial team. The company work on multiple developments of up to 200 units each across East Anglia, with projects almost always being traditionally built from standard house types.
Working alongside a Senior Buyer, as a team you will be responsible for all material, consumable, and logistics procurement for up to eight live projects at once. Dealing with a wide range of suppliers across the region, you will be expected to identify, negotiate, and arrange delivery for the full spectrum of building materials and products.
You will need either some experience of construction materials procurement, or significant product knowledge from a merchant / supplier background.
