The Opportunity
Our client, a globally recognised engineering and professional services consultancy, is seeking an exceptional Divisional Director to lead and expand its MEP capability within the hyperscale data centre sector.
This appointment represents a critical leadership hire, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, drive commercial performance, and influence the delivery of some of the most complex and high-profile mission critical projects in the market.

The Role
Reporting at a senior level within the business, the successful candidate will assume full accountability for the leadership, performance, and growth of a multidisciplinary MEP division.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Defining and executing a clear growth strategy within the hyperscale data centre market
  • Leading and developing a high-performing, geographically diverse MEP team
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to key clients, developers, and stakeholders
  • Overseeing the successful delivery of complex, large-scale mission critical projects
  • Driving technical excellence, innovation, and best-in-class design standards
  • Taking full ownership of divisional P&L, resource planning, and operational performance
  • Leading major bids, strategic pursuits, and client engagement activities

The Individual
Candidates will bring a proven track record of senior leadership within an engineering consultancy or similar environment, with demonstrable experience in delivering hyperscale data centre projects.
You will be:
  • A strategic and commercially astute leader with strong business acumen
  • Technically credible across mechanical, electrical, and public health disciplines
  • Experienced in managing large teams and complex project portfolios
  • Highly accomplished in client engagement and stakeholder management
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering (or a related discipline), with Chartered status preferred
