Principal Electrical Engineer - Bristol

Our client has established themselves as a leading player in the building services market and is one of the industry’s largest independent contractors. They have an annual turnover approaching £200m and they has been in the building services industry for over 70 years.

Duties of the role:

• Have responsibility for all aspects of assigned project work with an established team
• Support more junior members of the team, act as technical mentor
• Working and liaising with associated engineering disciplines as part of delivering projects
• Management of internal and external stakeholders
• Support senior managers running the commercial and contractual side of projects

You must have the following:

• Chartered building services experience
• Degree qualified in electrical or building services engineering
• Experience of mentoring and leading project teams
• Experience of taking financial, technical and quality and environmental responsibility for projects
• Enthusiastic and ambitious
• Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation
• Ability to lead electrical elements of one large project or a portfolio of smaller projects
