A dynamic and foward thinking consultancy in Ipswich is currently seeking a Building Services Revit Technician to join their team this is due to growth of this consultancy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop M&E scheme designs to detail design stage using AutoCAD/Revit under direction of M&E Engineers.
- Produce working drawing packages for tender and construction purposes to the required standard.
- Work within Practice policies and in particular in accordance with the Practice QA standards, standard documents, and Practice guidelines.
- Liaise with other consultants and contractors as appropriate.
- Be part of the M&E team to assist in overflow AutoCAD/Revit work when required by the Design Team.
- Ensure that time spent on projects is recorded on the Manager database.
- Carry out any other duties that may be reasonably expected of an M&E AutoCAD/Revit Technician.
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience of using AutoCAD and working in a Building Services Consultancy.
- Understanding of the built environment and how buildings are constructed.
- Knowledge of M&E engineering services.
- Revit and BIM knowledge – desirable.
- Ability to work with attention to detail and accuracy.
