As the demand for our clients expertise continues to grow, they now have an exciting opportunity for an Acoustic Engineer or experienced Graduate Acoustic Engineer to join their developing team in London. Our client is an independently owned multi-disciplinary consultancy who have been operating in the M&E sector for many years. Working across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, retail, leisure and residential and many more. This opportunity would be great for someone who wants to take on a new challenge and immerse themselves in the delivery of exciting projects who is looking to progress in their career.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Environmental noise surveys and assessments
• Design reports across the RIBA design stages
• Assessment of projects against British and International Standards
• Liaison with statutory authorities, architects, the design team and contractors
• Attendance at client, design and site meetings.  Site inspections and reporting
• Development of in-house software spreadsheets and design tools 
• Building acoustic models using CATT, Cadna, Odeon, SoundPlan, IMMI etc.

Requirements:

• MEng in Acoustics OR a first degree in a related discipline
• A minimum of two years qualitative and quantitative experience in building services, architectural and environmental acoustics
• BIM, Revit, CAD experience
• Software programming experience 
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Be a self-motivated team player with good people skills
