As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of electrical design projects while actively supporting the Mechanical team in project integration, design coordination, and team development. This is a unique opportunity for a senior-level electrical engineer looking to expand their leadership responsibilities and play a key role in a team success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.

• Collaborate with and support the Mechanical team on multidisciplinary design coordination.

• Provide technical leadership across electrical services, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

• Mentor and support junior engineers across both electrical and mechanical teams.

• Oversee project resourcing, timelines, and quality control for MEP designs.

• Attend client meetings, site visits, and project reviews.

• Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives.

• Help maintain and enhance company reputation through excellence in delivery and service.

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

• Chartered (or working towards Chartership) with CIBSE, IET or equivalent.

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in electrical building services design, ideally within a consultancy environment.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and how they integrate within MEP frameworks.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux, and IES.

• Demonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring teams.

• Commercial awareness and client-facing experience.
