MEP Lead / Senior Technical Services Manager

Rostock, Germany

£80,000 - £90,000 + Car Allowance + Travel / Accommodation

Ashbys Consulting are currently recruiting for a MEP Lead / Senior Technical Services Manager to work for a global contractor on a hyper-scale logistics centre in Rostock, North Germany.

You will be involved in delivering a quality service and product to their clients in line with the project goals by working with the professional team, trades, vendors and supply chain. This is a senior management position, so you will be expected to prepare and present reports, chair meetings with delivery partners, the client and their customers, and manage all engineering delivery on site.

This role is site based in Rostock, Germany.

Duties:

• Take full responsibility for Engineering construction of a highly engineered project.
• Lead a team of MEP Package managers across all M&E disciplines.
• Review design and shop drawings, the project programme and contribute where necessary.
• To be actively involved in the design process, offer technical support and industry experience.
• To monitor the design release against cost plan and construction schedule.

Skills:

• Must be a fluent German speaker.
• Must have experience working in Germany and knowledge of German Construction Codes.
• Knowledge of German construction regulations.
• Knowledge of P6 Programme & Project Controls.
• Good team leader and ‘people manager’
• Ideally have been involved at a senior level on a project valued at £20m +

Qualifications:

• Recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
• CSCS card holder (UK) or local equivalent.
