A leading multi-disciplinary Building Services consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their newly formed M&E team in the Nottingham office. This consultancy offers a wide range of services across various sectors, The particular focus at the moment is on a host of MOD based projects with the view to expand into other sectors within the business as the team grows.

The Role:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide mechanical engineering support, design, and project management expertise in the built environment. This is a great opportunity for growth and development in a rapidly growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget projects.
• Collaborate with clients to establish project briefs and budget costs.
• Prepare detailed specifications and drawings based on client briefs.
• Review tenders, prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
• Manage site works from start to finish, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Conduct inspections and submit condition reports for existing installations.
• Prepare technical reports, design presentations, tender drawings, and specifications.
• Develop energy strategies for sustainable and low carbon mechanical designs.
• Utilize thermal modelling software, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Analyse and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Perform site visits and surveys.
